Key Responsibilities
- Lead the promotion and integration of Alison’s platform within Workforce Development Boards, state and local government agencies, and training providers.
- Build strong, strategic relationships with stakeholders involved in TANF, SNAP Employment & Training, and WIOA-funded programs.
- Act as a key advocate for Alison in meetings, policy forums, and public-facing events, particularly in workforce innovation and digital skills development.
- Tailor and present proposals to align Alison’s services with funding requirements and reporting structures in the U.S. public workforce system.
- Track adoption, user engagement, and impact through online analytics tools, ensuring measurable value and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Alison’s global teams, sharing insights from the U.S. market and supporting internal alignment with sectoral needs.
- Support and expand projects related to education and reintegration for justice-involved populations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. workforce development, preferably in roles engaging with government-funded employment, training, or education programs.
- Direct experience with TANF, SNAP E&T, and WIOA legislation, and the compliance/reporting obligations they entail.
- Strong advocacy, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement experience, particularly in workforce, skills development, or education sectors.
- Exceptional digital literacy – must be proficient with:
- Google Workspace tools (especially Google Sheets)
- Online analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics or similar)
- CRMs, dashboards, and reporting tools used in public-sector program delivery.
- Ability to communicate complex policy, education, and tech ideas clearly in both writing and speech.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred, especially in public policy, economics, education, social sciences, or business.
Preferred Attributes
- Based in or near Florida or California, where Alison has high learner concentration and active outreach opportunities.
- Experience working with or advising Workforce Boards, community colleges, correctional systems, or non-profit training providers.
- Familiarity with reentry education programs for formerly incarcerated individuals is a significant asset.
- Experience working with open education platforms, edtech, or non-traditional credentialing models is advantageous.
