- Digitally Fluent Professionals – You should be confident using digital tools such as Google Sheets, social media platforms, and Google Analytics, and experienced in managing projects in online-first, data-driven environments.
- Experienced Budget Holders – Ideal candidates have managed budgets or held P&L responsibility, particularly in NGOs, international development, education, or skills training contexts.
- Academically Strong Applicants – A Master’s degree in any field is required, with a preference for candidates from numerate disciplines such as economics, statistics, finance, or engineering.
- Advocacy, Sales & Marketing Skills – Experience in advocacy, public engagement, business development, or marketing is a significant advantage. This role involves influencing stakeholders, promoting Alison’s offerings, and driving project adoption.
- Mission-Driven Mindset – You must be passionate about empowering people through education and upskilling, and share Alison’s vision of free access to learning for all.
Additional Advantages
- A background in international development, donor-funded projects, or large NGOs
- Experience leading multi-country, cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with the evolving aid landscape following recent US Aid funding withdrawals
